In the Washington Post!

I got my first-ever press mention in this article in the Washington Post today! Welcome to all of you who are seeing my site first the first time - I hope it doesn't disappoint. You can poke around and look at my archived photos by clicking "archives" over on your left, and browse by city or by category. I spend most of my time in San Francisco and Boston, but also have a lot of photos from my travels. Some of the SF restaurants coming up include: Michael Mina, Town Hall, Tartare, Zuni Cafe, A16, and more. I hope you enjoy your stay! Please do come back. :)

I am absolutely enthralled with your website and have managed to get nothing done at work today. All of a sudden I have this terrible craving to go to a restaurant and take pictures and write about my experience. Being that food is costly not only to the wallet but the body as well, how do you stay healthy financially and physically? I try to limit myself to no more than 3x out per week, which I'm hoping to cut down even more. But work and social commitments keeps me busy.

congrats on getting recognized by the w.post!! arthurhungry is a great site...when i get sick of entering data in excel spreadsheets (like...now), i like to look here for inspiration. ha.

p.s.-too much salt and butter is bad for you.

Thanks a lot guys!

Carol - glad to hear you like the site. I'm not going to lie; I'm completely spoiled by my parents in all things food. The majority of the meals I eat at nice places (basically all my meals in SF, actually) are with my parents. When I'm at school in Boston, I eat a lot less extravagantly. That's why I always have these long spurts of SF postings, even though I don't stay there for too long. As for the physical side, I guess I'm just young and lucky. I guess being a 21 year old Asian guy with skinny genes allows me to eat anything without much of a problem... at least for now.

Stephanie, butter and salt > everything.

Congratulations Arthur… But sh… you're only 20 years old !? Arfff, too young for me… But not too young to eat very good dishes and take great photos, I guess. ;-)

Oh yes ! 21 years old, I see that you have grown up since the "W Post" paper ! Good...

Indeed, I am now 21... actually, I've been 21 since January, but I had forgotten to update the About section of the site. Which is why the Post said 20, I guess. :)
