I went for lunch in downtown with my dad the other day before my haircut. We meant to go to Anjou, but in true French fashion, they were closed for the holidays until the end of the month I believe. So we went instead to Le Central, which I hadn't been to in a pretty long time.

haricots verts salad

steak frites
Food was very good. Haricots verts are always awesome. Great taste and texture. The steak was really good too - the onions help a lot. The fries were excellent... some of the best I've had in a while.
I have also been here before... I had the lamb.... it was amazing. I saw them preparing steak tartare one table over but wasn't brave enough to try it (this was back before I learned to just trust the chefs..)

Hi Erin - just wanted to say I've had the steak tartare at Le Central, and it's up to par. :) Haven't had the lamb though. It's always so hard for me to stray from either steak frites or steak tartare...
